Nature Nurtures Farm is excited to announce that we are partnering with Family Support Center of South Sound to open a second Early Learning Center, this center will be on the west side of Olympia very near Capital Medical Center. Our new licensed childcare center will be located in a beautiful complex being purchased by Family Support Center, we will offer the same programming opportunities available at our current center, with immersion in the outdoors and regular weekly trips to the farm.
We are also collaborating with St. Mike's Tikes as they have to close their doors within this next year to offer an opportunity for their staff and families to cohesively move together into our new program and space. We are so happy to be able to offer this to their staff and families, and also very grateful for such a well regarded program to become a part of NNF. Catholic Community Services will be helping support this transition through a large in-kind donation of early learning supplies and materials from St. Mike’s.
Our new space is currently just one giant room; we’ll be working with architects and builders to create classrooms and an enriching early learning environment. This is a huge project for us! We are applying for state and local grants and accepting in-kind donations and volunteer support to help fund this expansion. If you know of any resources we could access or know people or businesses that would be interested in supporting us in any of these areas, we would appreciate your help! Please send any relevant information to email@example.com.
We are in the early stages of this expansion, so dates may change, but at this time our hope is to open our doors to students in January 2019. If you are interested in registering your child for childcare at our new center please contact our Early Learning Center Director, Angie at firstname.lastname@example.org, or 360-709-9769. We are creating a wait list for the new center and Angie can give you further information and help you get on the wait list.
